The assignments for this course can get confusing. Major assignments have many small elements (or mini-assignments) that come together in a complete project. We are often composing in different media (individual blog, course blog, wiki, portfolio website, major collaborative website). And there is work due on or around each class meeting.
We live in an age of multi-media, multi-tasking, and multi-interfacing, and part of this course involves working in the multis. Please let me know if (when?) you get confused.
